Tensions are quite high at Sheffield Wednesday at the moment.Fans have been expressing their frustrations with Garry Monk after recent poor results, and the team just aren’t getting the results on the pitch, winning one of their last 11 games.Keiren Westwood has described what has gone on between him and the manager in a lengthy social media post, but we were none the wiser as to why Hutchinson has been ditched, until now.The manager explained why Hutchinson hasn’t been playing lately, and fans weren’t best pleased with his explanation.We’ve already been over the manager’s feeble excuse here on FFC, but just to recap, he’s stated that a lack of continuity from Hutchinson means that he doesn’t want him in the squad.Understandably, this explanation has had some of the Hillsborough faithful once again slating Monk.A couple compared him to Jos Luhukay, while another stated that it was an embarrassing comment to make.
Others quite simply weren’t buying what Monk was saying.

To be fair, it’s quite a stretch to say that you’re freezing out a player due to lack of continuity when your team has won just one league game in 2020.
