Leeds United’s business in terms of incomings is done and dusted.
Indeed, Marcelo Bielsa has said that the club are finished signing players, and Phil Hay has echoed that sentiment.
However, Hay has now revealed that there is still one man at the club who United want to get off the books.

What’s been said then?
The Athletic’s Leeds United correspondent was contributing to the websites deadline day live blog.
He gave a decisive update on the team, and he stated that there is still a senior-team player they want to see leave.
“All business in and out seems to be done. The club got what they were looking for in this window – a striker, a winger and a goalkeeper. They’ve also moved on virtually every surplus first team player, with the exception of Ouasim Bouy. Ideally they’d like to pay up the remainder of Bouy’s contract (18 months left) but it would cause problems with PnS calculations.”
Who on earth is that?!?! Can you name all of these obscure January signings?
Wait until summer
It’s unlikely that any teams will want to take Bouy and his considerable wages on between now and 11pm, and while Leeds want to pay up the remainder of his contract they shouldn’t.
Hay says that PnS will be a bit of an issue, but if United go up this term then paying Bouy off will be just a drop in the ocean after they receive their Premier League windfall.
Unfortunately, he’s going to have to stay at Elland Road for a little while longer, but as long as he’s not a disruptive force within the first-team squad there shouldn’t be too many issues with that, other than the financial drain of his wages.
